Could this be the rumored Canon EOS 7D finally? (previous rumors put it at fall 2009, coming out instead of a Canon EOS 60D)
NI are showing an image and specs (see source link below) of a new Camera, allegedly not a 1D or 60D but an xD with an internal marketing name supposedly of 'The lord of darkness'.
Just looked at CanonRumors, looks like they got the same email, less picture.
Specs:
- 16.8 M-pixel 1.3 Crop Factor [28MP FF equiv]
- DIGIC IV
- ISO 100-6400 (extension: 50 ISO & 25400 ISO)
- 5 fps
- 3.2in High Resolution Screen (LCD)
- 19-point AF
- HDMI Out
- Liveview
- HD Movie Mode including 720P (30FPS)
- Viewfinder: 100% Coverage
- Weather sealing as of 5D MKII
- EF Lenses only
Price point would be anyone's guess - looking at the specs it would be somewhere in Nikon D300-D700 territory, so probably around the $2k mark (and presumably less than the Full Frame 5D Mark II).
